Ride Ataxia Dallas Raises $176,000

Winnfield residents were among the team of 25 that assisted Kate Walker of Ruston reach the top spot as both the individual fundraiser and the top team fundraiser during the Ride Ataxia Dallas held this past weekend.

A total of $176,000 was raised for research in the fight against this crippling disease.  Kate with her Krewe accounted for $38,000 of that total.  “It was a great ride, a great day,” observers said.
