The Goldonna Wildcats have released their long anticipated Basketball schedule for the 2024-2025 season. Tip off will be held on October 28 as they take on the Provencal Panthers.

The Village of Goldonna will welcome Kelly Crabb and the Bowling Sisters. They will have a special night of music at Goldonna Assembly of God. This will be held Friday, August 16th at 7:00pm.
Goldonna Assembly of God will also be hosting a Men’s Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, August 24th at 8:00am. The special speaker for the event will be Bo Johnson of Christian Fellowship. To make sure you have a spot at this event please RSVP to Daniel Kirkham at 318-228-7698.
The Christmas in the Park Committee is hard at work raising money for another beautiful and successful Christmas Festival.
The CITP committee is selling raffle tickets for a gun giveaway. The tickets are being sold for the low cost of $10 each. They can be purchased from any Board member, the Store, or Mr. Eugean Garner. The drawing will be held on Sunday, September 8th at the Fish Fry Fundraiser.
The famous Fish Fry is a local favorite. The plates will be $10 each and will include fish fried to perfection, tasty and well seasoned fries, scrumptious hush puppies, and a side of delightful coleslaw. The committee can absolutely use your help selling these tickets! All of the money raised is poured directly back into the festival.
If you have never had the pleasure of visiting the Goldonna Christmas in the Park, add it to your list of holiday “must-dos”. It is truly like visiting the set of a Hallmark movie that is bustling with townspeople with a perfect Christmas backdrop. Be on the lookout for more details to come!
