As a former Mayor of Winnfield and long term civic and business leader, I would like to take this opportunity to officially endorse Josh McAllister for Winn Parish Sherriff. Josh represents the kind of change our parish needs. Josh is a proven leader and he and his family give selflessly to this community.
During my time in office, the City of Winnfield and Winn Parish went through some very trying times and for the first time in history, the city and parish, with Josh McAllister as the Police Jury President, worked together under a cooperative endeavor agreement for the betterment of our community. We moved forward through COVID shutdowns, the devastation of Hurricane Laura, as well as a terribly damaging ice storm. Through it all Josh McAllister demonstrated his outstanding leadership ability as well as his readiness to dig in and get the job done.
Election Day is November 18th. Believe me when I say that every vote is critical. Josh McAllister is a businessman, a team builder, and a leader that cares about Winn Parish. I am certain that he is the right man at the right time.
