Thursday and Friday, January 13 and 14, 2022 will be remote learning days for students at Winnfield Primary School and Winnfield Middle School. Staff shortages due to ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic make this necessary.
Students will be provided with materials for learning on those days. Teachers and staff who are not in isolation or quarantine will be available at school to provide assistance to any student who need it over the phone, email, or via Google Classroom.
Sack lunches will be available for pickup by parents on those days.
All other schools will remain open for in-person learning.
WPS and WMS will return to in-person learning Tuesday, January 18, 2022 unless otherwise announced.
The Winn Parish School Board is committed to providing in-person instruction for our students. Every effort will be made to keep our schools open unless, as in the present case, isolation and quarantine of staff make that impossible.
Meal Pickup Instructions:
Parents may pick up meals for their child at the school they are enrolled in. Meals can be picked up Thursday, January 13th and Friday, January 14th between 10:30 AM and 1:00 PM. Meals can be picked up at the bus dock near the cafeteria entrance. Please contact the school office for further information.
