The Winnfield Fire Department participated in the annual Shop-With-A-Cop Boot Drive. 3rd Shift stood on the highway with police officers, members of the community and volunteers from teen challenge to collect money for the main event taking place on December 9th. The event helps bridge the gap between first responders and the community while helping children who are less fortunate in the parish for Christmas.
The drive ended with $7200.00 being collected which is a record. Thank you to all who participated and for those that donated to help children have a great Christmas, which for first responders it is ALWAYS FOR THE GREATER GOOD!
