Chad Kacir, NRCS Louisiana State Conservationist, with Joe Hines at the Louisiana Association of Conservation Districts annual convention in Baton Rouge.
Hines was recently honored as the Individual Earth Team award recipient for 2019. Hines donated approximately 700 hours in Winn and Natchitoches parishes for the local Soil and Water Conservation Districts and the Natural Resources Conservation Service district offices.
Hines received a plaque and was recognized for his exemplary volunteer service during the awards ceremony held on Thursday, January 8, 2020 the annual convention.
Earth Team is the official volunteer organization for the NRCS and soil and water conservation districts.
