According to reports by multiple regional news outlets Winn Parish Sheriff Cranford Jordan’s condition has improved since testing positive for COVID and being placed on a ventilator. 

Last week reports surfaced that Jordan and his wife tested positive for COVID. While Jordan’s wife Dianne remained quarantined at her home in Winnfield Jordan was taken to Rapides Regional by ambulance, was admitted into ICU and placed on a ventilator.

Current reports state that Jordan has been removed from the ventilator but remains in ICU.
