DODSON — The Winn WMU will host its Second Annual Crafty Spring Fling on Saturday, April 11, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Welcome Home Baptist Church, 3778 Hwy. 34 in Dodson.
The event serves as a community fundraiser supporting mission efforts coordinated by the Winn WMU, the women’s mission organization representing Baptist churches throughout Winn Parish and affiliated with the North Central Baptist Association.
Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of handmade and homemade items available for purchase, including quilts, frozen casseroles, gumbo, soups, chili, jellies, pickles, mason jar cookie mixes, local honey, crafts, books, puzzles, vintage items, Christmas décor, and more.
A smoked brisket lunch will be served from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with plates available for $12 each.
All proceeds from the event will go toward mission projects. Funds are distributed based on the direction of participating members and allocated following the organization’s June meeting.
Organizers encourage the public to attend, support local missions, and enjoy a day of food, fellowship, and shopping.
