Jackson Lead Winnfield Tigers Past Montgomery High School

Jaylon Jackson scored 18 points to lead Winnfield Tigers past Montgomery High School, 68-39, on Tuesday.

Leading 24-22, Winnfield Tigers went on a 21-point run to pull further away. Winnfield Tiger had a strong first half, leading 43-22 at halftime and never looked back, securing the victory.

Jaylon Jackson poured in 12 points in the first half as Winnfield Tigers outscored Montgomery High School 41-22.

Winnfield Tiger’s 29-38 shooting on twos was a key factor in the game. The Tigers passed the ball well with 11 assists on 32 made baskets. Winnfield Tigers swiped 11 steals in the game. Jaylon Jackson and Tank Lewis brought excitement to the game with three dunks, Jaylon (2) and Tank (1). Craig St. Cyr lead the team with three steals. Tank Lewis pounded the glass, collecting five rebounds to lead Winnfield Tigers. Craig St. Cyr (15 points), CL Davis (8 point), Tank Lewis (8 points), TV Butler (8 points), De’Cavian Duncan (5 points), Jordan Washington (2 points), Josh Hayes (2 points), and Bryant Nash (2 points) helped out Winnfield Tigers as well.
