A local citizen reports that while driving home one day she came upon a group of kids, led by DJ & Cesa Day picking up trash along the streets in Goldonna. She stopped and inquired of their doings, and she was told of their Bible lesson. The local citizen wanted to commend this group of kids for their work and their service to the community. Raise up a child in the way they should go and they won’t depart from it.
The organizer, Cesa Day, shared, “Tonight’s Scripture was Mark 9:30-37 and we discussed how it is to be a servant for Christ. We went over different ways of serving others and our community. As an example, we chose to walk small roads of the town to pick up trash.”
Those participating were:
Kayden Bedgood
Levi McGee
Bella Johns
Grace Day
Alaynna Day
Jillian Day
Victoria Stewart
Brookelyn Garner
