
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! There is something very special about small-town Christmas Cheer. A year of planning will be on full display this weekend and you are cordially invited.
The 28th Annual Goldonna Christmas in the Park is happening this weekend. Friday, December 9th. The festivities will begin at 4:00pm at Town Hall with a visit from Santa Claus. He will be available for photos until 5:30 which is also the same time the parade will begin to line up . The parade will roll at 6:00. Soon after the parade Santa will be available again family photos.
The extravagant fireworks show will begin at 8:00pm. It is always a crowd favorite that will leave you in awe.
The Village will also be hosting refreshments in front of Town Hall. Public restrooms will be available at the corner of Main and Vine Street. There is also a rumor that special guests will be mingling with crowd this year! Bleachers will be provided between the Post Office and the Town Hall Pavilion.
Lakeview High School Agriculture will have a fundraising booth for all of their projects. You will want to bring your sweet tooth as Goldonna Baptist Church Youth will also be selling their famous funnel cakes.

Goldonna Elementary Junior High students are still collecting non-perishable food items for the Central Louisiana Food Bank. The school is also proud to announce they will be presenting a Christmas Program on Thursday, December 15th at 6:00pm. Parent Teacher Conference will be held on Tuesday, December 20th from 3:30pm to 6:00pm.
The Goldonna Wildcats are already planning for 2023! Homecoming Court presentation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 in the school gym.
