A fun shopping destination with a Christian mission has been added to the Joyce community as volunteers of East Winnfield Baptist Church announced the opening of their “Cottage” on a regular basis as the Christmas season approaches.  This Friday, November 6, will mark their next adventure.

Church volunteers will be on hand at the Cottage every Friday in November and December during the hours of 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.  Additionally, this fun stop will be open on the second Saturdays, November 14 and December 12.

With a Garage Sale concept and garage sale savings, church members have gathered a huge assortment of bargain items including clothes, shoes, purses, toys, household and outdoor items.  Take the one-mile drive east out of Winnfield over the dike on Hwy 84 to the Cottage in Joyce, the white building between David’s Pro Burger and East Winnfield Baptist Church.

Proceeds from the sale will be used for the small church’s big mission of outreach in the community.
