The Journal was in the Courthouse on Monday afternoon, March 18, when Winn Parish Coroner 

Dr. James Lee came down the hall.

He had just taken his oath of office from Clerk of Court Chesney Chandler.

Dr. Lee has served as the parish coroner for the past eight years and was unopposed in his bid for re-election for his next four-year term.
