The Winn Farmers Market is getting a fresh look thanks to a community improvement effort that brought together local volunteers and organizations over the weekend.

Members of Winn Parish 4-H, Winn Parish Master Gardeners, LSU AgCenter agents and other community volunteers spent Saturday working on improvements at the farmers market.

The effort also received support from Mr. Brandon and WoodmenLife Winnfield Chapter 107.

Winn 4-H thanked everyone who dedicated part of their weekend to the project, emphasizing that the work was part of an ongoing effort to improve the community one step at a time.

The project highlighted the combined efforts of youth, volunteers and community organizations working together to enhance a space used by residents and local vendors.
