City of Winnfield Host 4th of July Celebration

The square in downtown Winnfield was filled with families Saturday as the city hosted a 4th of July celebration. All had a great time with beautiful weather for the event. Two inflatable waterslides were onsite to help beat the heat, as well as two inflatable bounce houses/slides and a dunking booth. The city provided free popcorn, watermelon and water to the public. In addition, the Rotary Club of Winnfield provided free cotton candy. There was also a food truck for those with a taste for something more substantial.

Winnfield Fire Department helped out by filling up the dunking booth. Winnfield Police Department and Advanced EMS were also on site in case of any mishaps.

City of Winnfield Mayor George Moss would like to thank everyone for coming out and celebrating the 245th birthday of America.
