The City of Winnfield has posted a Public Notice on its Facebook Page indicating a Sunday Water Main Replacement, Road Closure and City-Wide Water Shutdown.  It reads:

“The City Water Department will begin work to replace an 8-inch water main in front of 415 S. Bevill Street this Sunday, May 11, starting at 6:45 a.m.

“Road Closure:  S. Bevill St. will be closed from the intersection of East South Ave. and S. Bevill St. to the intersection of S. Bevill St. and Front St. from 7 a.m. Sunday until the work is complete.

“City-Wide Water Shutdown & Boil Advisory:  Beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, a city-wide water shutdown will occur until early Monday morning. A boil advisory will also be in effect until further notice once the water is shut down.”
