The number one Class C Calvin Cougars (35-2) are set to take on last year’s state champions in the Simpson Broncos (26-9). The game will mark the first time since 2003 that Calvin has made it to the state tournament, while Simpson has won two of the last three state titles and has been in the Top 28 every year since 2017.

The semi-final game is Tuesday, March 8 at 4:30 PM at the Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles.

The Calvin Cougars will travel through town about 1:10 PM today traveling to Lake Charles to the State Semifinals. Let’s line the streets to show them some support!
