Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at 6:00 PM in the Atlanta High School parking lot we are celebrating the Senior Class of 2020 in a new way that honors social distancing guidelines! Seniors will have their time on stage as we recognize each individual student’s accomplishments, honors and special recognition’s. Seniors will be issued a list and when the person before them exits the stage they will make their way to the other side while waiting for their name to be called. Students will remain on stage while the announcer honors the individual graduate.

We are asking families of the graduates as well as the community to park in the marked parking spaces at the school. Families of the graduates will have assigned parking spaces. We ask that you wear your bulldog gear, decorate your vehicle and help show our seniors that this moment is important and that they matter. Let’s make this a night they will never forget.

The “Drive-In” Senior Spotlight will force you to stay in your vehicles. There will be members of the faculty out directing you where to park. We ask that you sit back, leave your car running with the windows up, tune your radio to 97.9 FM and enjoy our “drive in” ceremony recognizing each special graduate.

At no point is anyone allowed to get out of their vehicle and windows must remain up at all times. The school will be locked and no restrooms will be available. If you feel like you must exit your vehicle you will be asked to leave. We must comply with the governor’s order. These rules are not just for our own welfare but for our friends and neighbors as well.

We look forward to celebrating the 2020 graduates of Atlanta High School and hope to see you there. Seniors should arrive at the school parking lot at 5:30 P.M. and park in your designated spot. If you choose to decorate your vehicle, it must be done prior to entering the school parking lot.
