“An Evening of Songs” will be the theme this Sunday night, September 15, at Winnfield First Assembly of God when a host of Gospel groups gather to lift their voices to fill the sanctuary in praise to the Lord.

Doors will open at 4 p.m. and the program will begin at 5 p.m., says Pastor Shaun Garner.  First Assembly is located at 5693 U.S. Hwy 167 N, opposite the Calvin Hwy turnoff.  The presentation is free and open to the public.

The headline singers in this collection of groups that will be performing Sunday night will be Pastor Jerry Jones and Fantastic Jones Family of Springfield, IL, says De’Treyvion “De” Powell, Gospel promoter.  Also performing will be Songs of Joy from Jackson, MS; Divine Purpose from Cary, MS; Anointed Gospel Singers from Farmerville; and T.J. & Trinity from Alexandria.  Also featured will be the local voices of The Family Church Praise Team of Winnfield.
